Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our HeatSupport packages, heat pump maintenance, service processes, and account management.

How do I sign up for HeatSupport?

You can sign up here.

I am on a HeatSupport package. Can I upgrade to HeatSupport+?

Yes, of course. Please contact us.

How often should my heat pump be serviced?

We recommend annual servicing for all heat pumps. In our experience, regular servicing of the system ensures it is operating efficiently and significantly reduces the chance of needing a call-out.

What is the response time for diagnosing heat pump problems?

We aim to diagnose within 6 hours and fix within 24 hours.

Why isn't my hot water instantly hot?

When you turn on the hot tap, you draw the water that has been sat in the pipework between tap and heat network. Due to thermal losses this water will not be hot. Once this water is drawn off you will receive the hot water from the heat network.

Why aren't my radiators really hot?

Networks that are heated via heat pumps are typically designed with a heating circulation temperature to maximise efficiency. This temperature is typically 35°C - 45°C which is cooler than a conventional gas boiler. This makes a heat pump around 300% efficient, whereas gas boilers are about 80% efficient. This means for one unit of energy supplied to a gas boiler, a heat pump creates nearly four times more heat.

We recommend that you leave your thermostat set at a temperature comfortable for you and do not turn your heating off.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept monthly or annual payments via debit or credit card.

I have a complaint. What should I do?

Please contact us and we will aim to investigate and resolve your issue as soon as possible.
